Individual Plant Highlights
The Turin (Mirafiori) facility posted one of the strongest recoveries, producing 36,048 vehicles during H1 2026, an increase of 135.4% compared with the previous year. The higher production volume enabled the hiring of approximately 600 additional employees, the introduction of a second production shift, and a gradual reduction in temporary layoffs. Meanwhile, the Modena facility produced 475 vehicles, representing a 955.6% increase from only 45 units during H1 2025. This sharp rise resulted mainly from transferring assembly operations for the Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio, which now contribute around 88% of the plant's total production.
The Cassino facility continued facing operational challenges despite manufacturing 4,125 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models alongside 2,575 Maserati Grecale SUVs. Total production declined 36.2% year over year to 6,700 units. Workforce levels have decreased to approximately 2,130 employees, with manufacturing restricted to five or six working days each month.
