New Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Introduced With Updated Powertrain Options

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has officially launched the New Maruti Suzuki Brezza updated model with refreshed styling, advanced powertrain options and enhanced safety features. The facelifted compact SUV starts at ₹7.40 lakh ex-showroom and introduces a new 1.0-litre engine producing 81 kW (110.2 PS) and 170 Nm of torque. This engine variant is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and incorporates Progressive Smart Hybrid technology, delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.47 km/l for customers seeking improved performance and efficiency.

The updated Brezza continues with the proven 1.5-litre K15C naturally aspirated engine, producing 75.8 kW and 139 Nm of torque. Customers can choose between a new 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission equipped with paddle shifters. The same engine is also available with a CNG option, generating 65 kW and 121 Nm of torque. The CNG variant features an underbody-mounted CNG tank designed to optimise cabin space and practicality.

Exterior Updates And Safety Enhancements In The Brezza Facelift

The facelifted Brezza receives several cosmetic updates, including a redesigned front grille, bull bar, skid plate, refreshed dual-tone side cladding and updated alloy wheels. The SUV maintains its strong safety positioning after achieving a 5-Star Bharat NCAP safety rating for crash performance. According to the company, the vehicle also includes multiple driver assistance features such as Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal and Exit Support Warning.

The updated compact SUV continues to strengthen the position of Maruti Suzuki India Limited in the passenger vehicle segment by combining multiple powertrain choices, improved safety technologies and design enhancements. The company is targeting customers with different driving preferences through petrol, automatic and CNG options while maintaining the practicality expected from a compact SUV in India.
