Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched the Maruti Suzuki New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet, introducing a new engine option along with design and feature updates for its compact SUV lineup. The Turbo Boosterjet variant is priced from INR 7,39,900 (introductory, ex-showroom). The new variant expands the Brezza range with a 997cc turbocharged engine, Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology and a new 6-speed manual transmission aimed at delivering improved driving performance and efficiency for customers in India.

The New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet is powered by a 997cc engine producing 81 kW (110.2 PS) at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque between 2,000-3,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a new 6-speed manual transmission, while the company states that the variant delivers fuel efficiency of 20.47 km/l as certified under Rule 115 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989. This powertrain introduces a performance-focused option within the compact SUV segment while retaining hybrid technology integration.

The New Brezza continues with the 1,462cc K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT engine equipped with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology. This engine produces 75.8 kW (103.05 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 139 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The variant now receives a new 6-speed manual transmission along with the existing 6-speed automatic transmission featuring steering-mounted paddle shifters. The claimed fuel efficiency for this powertrain is 21.09 km/l, providing customers with multiple transmission choices across the petrol range.

The S-CNG variant continues with the 1,462cc engine and introduces a new underbody CNG tank configuration designed to preserve boot space. In petrol mode, the engine produces 75.8 kW (103.05 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 139 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. In CNG mode, it delivers 64.6 kW (87.8 PS) at 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. The variant also introduces Idle Start-Stop technology and a new 6-speed manual transmission with claimed fuel efficiency of 26.9 km/kg.

The New Brezza receives several exterior updates including a new Smoke Chrome Grille, Metallic Grey Bull Bar and Skid Plate design, refreshed dual-tone side cladding and new precision-cut alloy wheels. The Turbo Boosterjet variant features exclusive Turbo Boosterjet badging to differentiate it from other variants. The SUV continues with a modern styling approach while adding new colour choices including Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige alongside existing Pearl Bluish Black, Magma Gray, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver and Pearl Arctic White options.

The compact SUV is available with dual-tone colour combinations including Lustrous Beige, Arctic White and Sizzling Red with a Bluish Black roof. Maruti Suzuki also offers three accessory packages for customers. The Turbo Package adds red accents and C-pillar Turbo badging, the Terrascape Package provides brown and silver exterior styling elements, while the Metroscape Package focuses on a sportier urban appearance theme.
