Cargo vehicle volumes climbed 27% to 1,057 units, while passenger vehicle sales also advanced by 27% to reach 349 units. On a year-to-date basis, MTBD delivered 5,357 vehicles, representing growth of 16% over the previous year and highlighting consistent momentum across both major product segments.
SML Mahindra records higher bus demand despite cargo decline
SML Mahindra reported total July sales of 1,603 units, an increase of 12% year-on-year. Passenger vehicle volumes, led primarily by buses, rose 21% to 1,186 units. Cargo vehicle sales, however, declined 7% to 417 units during the month. Year-to-date performance remained positive, with total volumes reaching 7,041 units, up 11%, while cargo vehicles declined 12% and passenger vehicle sales improved by 19%.
