On July 10, Jetour introduced the refreshed Dashing and X70 Plus SUVs in South Africa. The latest versions receive updated exterior styling, enhanced cabin comfort, new technology features, and additional safety equipment while retaining their focus on offering a well-equipped SUV package for customers in the market.
Both refreshed SUVs are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The upgraded powertrain now produces 125 kW of power and 270 Nm of torque, representing an improvement over the previous models, which generated 115 kW and 230 Nm respectively. The revised output provides stronger overall performance while maintaining the existing transmission configuration.
The new Dashing receives several interior enhancements designed to improve occupant comfort and convenience. Key features include an eight-speaker Sony audio system, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and heated as well as ventilated front seats on the Prime variant. The model also incorporates Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 540-degree panoramic camera system, front parking sensors, and multiple airbags to strengthen overall vehicle safety.
The refreshed X70 Plus is offered in five exterior colour options. Pricing for the SUV starts at ZAR 444,900, providing customers with an updated model that combines refreshed styling, improved performance, enhanced technology, and expanded safety equipment.
