Cumulative vehicle sales during the first seven months of 2026 reached 1,700,219 units, representing a 17.9% increase from the corresponding period of the previous year. The year-to-date result indicates that the positive July performance formed part of a broader expansion in the Brazilian vehicle market rather than being an isolated monthly increase. The bank also projected sales of 2.68 million units for 2027, providing a positive outlook for the market beyond the current year.
Retail conditions were also highlighted by Fenabrave President Arcelio Junior, who described a positive environment for the retail sector, strengthened by the federal government's Sustainable Car program. Junior stated: "The credit market has favored financing in recent months, especially in the retail sector." According to Fenabrave, approximately 17,000 units were sold by Move Brasil Taxi and Apps, which came into effect in mid-June. The financing environment and government program were therefore identified as factors supporting retail activity, while the reported sales performance and year-to-date growth point to continued strength in Brazil's vehicle market during 2026.
