The medium and heavy commercial vehicle truck segment remained the primary growth driver, with domestic sales increasing 43% to 9,323 units. Including exports, total M&HCV truck sales rose 47% to 9,809 units during the month.

M&HCV and LCV Segments Record Double-Digit Growth

Overall medium and heavy commercial vehicle sales, including domestic and export volumes, stood at 12,270 units in July, increasing 29% from 9,529 units in the same month last year. On a cumulative basis, M&HCV sales grew 11% to 41,694 units during the April-July period. The M&HCV bus segment recorded mixed performance, with domestic sales rising 6% to 1,727 units, while total bus sales including exports declined 14% year-on-year to 2,461 units.

Light Commercial Vehicle Sales Continue Positive Growth Trend

The light commercial vehicle segment delivered further support to overall sales performance, with total July sales increasing 32% to 7,320 units. Cumulative LCV volumes during the first four months of the financial year reached 26,659 units, representing a 23% increase compared with the previous year period. The performance reflects sustained demand for commercial mobility solutions, particularly in areas requiring efficient goods transportation and last-mile delivery capabilities across the growing commercial vehicle ecosystem.
