BMW iX3 L Makes Its China Debut

The 2026 BMW iX3 L has finally launched in China at the ongoing Chengdu Motor Show, introducing a long-wheelbase electric SUV developed specifically with the Chinese market in mind. The lineup now includes a new 30L variant alongside the 40L and 50L versions. The entry model uses rear-wheel drive and produces 265 PS (195 kW) and 500 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Its most significant technical change is a 77 kWh LFP battery, replacing the NMC chemistry used by the other variants. BMW claims 630 km of range under China’s CLTC testing cycle.
